mctiers.ca/tiertestHow to join on Java Edition
Open Minecraft: Java Edition and choose Multiplayer, then Add Server. Paste mctiers.ca into the Server Address field and save. The server appears in your list; double-click it to join.
How to join on Bedrock Edition
On Windows, phones and tablets, open Play, go to Servers and choose Add Server. Use mctiers.ca as the address and 19132 as the port. Save, then join from your server list.
What to do after you join
Type /tiertest in chat. A menu lists the eight gamemodes and the regions; pick the gamemode you want to be ranked in and the region you play from. A tester takes you to a private arena with the official kit when one is free. You can watch the queue live on the waitlist page.
If the server does not appear
On Java, check that you are on 1.21 or newer. On Bedrock, the port is the usual culprit — 19132 is required and easy to leave blank. If the server shows as offline, it is normally a restart; try again in a couple of minutes.
Server questions
What is the MCTiers server IP?
mctiers.ca. Java Edition uses the default port, so you do not need to add one. On Bedrock Edition, use port 19132.
Which Minecraft versions can join?
Java Edition players can join on 1.21 and newer. Bedrock players should use an up-to-date version of Bedrock Edition.
Can I join from Bedrock Edition?
Yes. Bedrock players on Windows, phones and tablets can join at mctiers.ca on port 19132, and they do not need a Java account.
Can I join on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?
Consoles do not let you add custom servers directly, so the easiest way to play on Bedrock is from Windows, a phone or a tablet.
Why can’t I connect?
Check that you typed mctiers.ca correctly and, on Bedrock, that the port is 19132. If the server is restarting, try again in a couple of minutes.
How do I get tier tested once I am in?
Type /tiertest in chat, pick the gamemode and your region, and wait for a tester. The waitlist page shows the queue live.
Is the server free to join?
Yes. Entry, tier tests and events are all free. There is no paid tier or subscription.
