Pot PvP is the fastest gamemode on MCTiers. Players cycle splash potions, keep a packed hotbar organised and trade short, brutal bursts of damage. Reaction time and hotkey fluency matter more here than anywhere else.

What the gamemode tests

Testers look at inventory speed first: how quickly you can swap to the right potion, how cleanly you re-pot after taking damage, and whether you keep your hotbar in a consistent order. The player who takes half a second longer to find a potion loses the exchange regardless of aim.

How to climb the Pot tier list

Build a hotbar layout you never change, then drill it until you stop thinking about it. Most mid-tier players lose because they re-pot too early — wasting a potion on damage they could have avoided — or too late, after the opponent has already committed. Watch your own replays and count how many potions you waste per fight; that number is usually the clearest path to the next tier.
